1.- Introduction to meditation for expansion and contraction of energy
In this method of meditation we use the expansion and contraction of energy to direct that energy to empower our physical and subtle bodies. In this way we manage to balance and improve both bodies. We also regenerate our quality of life, and focus our minds on what is really important.
We go on to explain the steps to perform the meditation for the expansion and contraction of energy. We will separate it into two stages.
2.- The stages of expansion and contraction meditation
2.1.- The energy expansion stage
Lie down on a mat, mattress or on the floor for a minimum of 10 minutes. Close your eyes and firmly and clearly visualize the “growth” of your energy body. During this meditation make it grow more and more, perceiving the beneficial cosmic energy that allows its growth.

Continue expanding your aura, until you have reached the ceiling of your room, or the sky above, if you are outdoors.
Get used to this feeling gradually, doing this exercise for two or three days in a row, clearly, you will begin to notice its effects. A feeling of euphoria and revitalization, as well as a state of inner peace.
Later in the meditation, visualize your aura growing even larger, beyond the room. Therefore, your aura can become as big as the place where you live. Expand your aura even more, as much as you can.
Limits don’t exist. You can even feel that your aura is as big as your city, or the whole planet, or even the solar system. Expand your aura until you feel like you have the whole universe inside you.
Perform this expansion technique for seven days and then repeat it in reverse (contraction) for another seven days.

After successful meditation, the first stage of expansion and contraction of energy, we move on to the last stage.
2.2.- The energy contraction stage
Lie down on the bed or on the floor, as mentioned above. Feel your body and then start the contraction stage as follows:
Imagine that your body becomes small, until it is the size of an atom, and even more, until this atom ends up dissolving into something unique and eternal that resides within you.
At the end of the seven days of practicing this meditation, you will realize that you can become so small, from a subtle point of view, that you can hardly “place” yourself.
Through these experiences, you will realize that through the expansion stage you can become as infinite as the universe and through contraction you can become as small and invisible as an atom.
Perform these exercises for seven days in a row, as described above.
Among the beneficial effects that you will notice in just ten or fifteen minutes of daily exercise, for two weeks, are:
- State of inner harmony, fullness, happiness and balance.
- In the advanced stages, the practitioner may even attain samadhi.
