The spiritual concept of “I am”
In the spiritual tradition and the different philosophical currents of Hinduism we find the concept of “I am” or “I am that“.
This concept has to do with the final teaching of the path of Hindu spirituality. All these currents and traditions, from their different perspectives and points of view, lead us to recognize ourselves as something more than an ego inside a body.
The recognition that in our essence, we are Pure Consciousness, which is the basis of all existence: “that which I am“, without form or name, eternal, immutable , unalterable, self-existent.
When we walk the path of Yoga, we recognize ourselves in “that”, and free ourselves from all the ties imposed by the person linked to his body and mind, enjoying a full life: we escape from the wheel of reincarnation.
