Definition of Mahabharata:
The Mahabharata is an extensive mythological text from India. The Mahabharata narrates the confrontation between two families, the Pandu and the Kuru, for control of the Barat kingdom. The conflict gives rise to great battles with other kingdoms being involved, finally the Pandu family emerges victorious.
Throughout 2000 years this text has been commented on and interpreted by different generations.
