Definition of Indra:
Indra is the chief god of the Vedic religion and lord of the heavens. He is considered the god of war, storm and lightning. Indra is depicted with wavy swords and mounted on an elephant.
In the Vedic era he was considered the god of the gods, later in Hinduism he became the king of the demigods and was surpassed by the gods Vishnu, Shiva y Brahma.
