Definition of Khiva:
Jiva refers to the concept of “soul”, that which is connected to absolute Consciousness or that which we consider to be the supreme “I”, or divinity.
In Hinduism it is considered that the soul is the engine that governs our activity, and that it is actually a piece that corresponds to the Consciousness, also called “Brahman” or the absolute, transcendent reality. “THAT” which is indeed what we are.
The Jiva longs to fully incorporate with Consciousness (Brahman),and end the transmigration of reincarnation, to end the cycle of birth and death.
